May 9,  Competition Begins!

The final rule changes for the 2009 WCC Spearfishing series were given to the FSDA Officers at our last meeting and the few rule changes seem to make it easier for more divers to get involved and shoot in the tournament.  In an effort to make it somewhat easier to shoot in a tourney that may be far from your boat dock, all Pre-registrants can skip the mandatory early morning check-in but they still have to wait until 7:30am to leave their dock.  We hope that gentleman’s and gentlewomen’s honor and respect for themselves will prevail for this event and keep Pre-registrants off the water until the start time. Thanks to this year’s WCC Co-chairs, Bryan Lee Anderson and Trey Stickland for working very hard for this committee.  The tournament rules, dates and other pertinent information will be published on the FSDA website within 10 days.
